first post

hello world.

Lately, I’ve fallen in love with oil painting…I’ve never taken any classes before, so anything I know I’ve learned from the internet/random books at the library, but basically I still don’t really know what I’m doing. I recently discovered this whole painting-a-day “movement” in the blogging world, and although I won’t be posting a painting a day or trying to sell my stuff, I like the idea of using a blog to keep track of my progress and improvement (hopefully!) as I go along.
